A funeral or memorial service is a time for the gathering of family and friends to celebrate the life of the loved one who passed. We understand the value of memorializing a life and we will work with the family to help create a personal tribute. A funeral or memorial service is an important part of the grief process.
Typically a more informal gathering, it is a time for friends to offer condolences and share memories with the family. Traditionally the deceased is present for the viewing or the cremains are displayed. Many of our families use this time to display photos and memorabilia. Calling hours are generally one to two hours long and can be followed immediately by a funeral or graveside service.
Cremation is the right choice for many people. Cremation can be combined with a funeral, memorial service or graveside service and calling hours may still be held. Families can choose to have a full funeral with a viewing using either a cremation casket or a rental casket. If the deceased is cremated prior to services, the cremains or photos can be displayed instead. We carry a variety of full sized urns, companion urns, keepsake urns and keepsake jewelry.
